REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all matters relating to order cancellation, refunds, exchanges, reversals, and chargebacks for purchases made from VENÈ JEWELRY ("VENÈ", "we", "us", "our"). This policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Due to the nature of fine jewelry, bespoke craftsmanship, and made-to-order production, VENÈ JEWELRY applies strict refund and cancellation rules.

Customers expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Not all products are eligible for cancellation, refund, or exchange;
  • Eligibility depends on product category, production status, and legal requirements;
  • No implied rights exist beyond those expressly stated in this policy.

2. NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-CANCELLABLE ITEMS

The following items are strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable, without exception:

2.1 Custom-Made & Bespoke Jewelry

  • Jewelry produced according to customer-approved specifications;
  • Items customized in size, design, metal, gemstone, engraving, or setting;
  • Orders for which production has commenced following design approval.

Once design approval is granted and/or production begins:

  • The order becomes final and irreversible;
  • No cancellation, refund, exchange, or modification shall be permitted.

2.2 Pre-Order Jewelry

  • Jewelry produced exclusively upon customer request;
  • Items not held in stock and manufactured on demand.

Pre-order items:

  • Require full payment in advance;
  • Are non-refundable and non-cancellable once production is initiated.

Refunds for pre-orders shall be issued only where VENÈ JEWELRY is unable to fulfill the order due to circumstances solely attributable to VENÈ.

3. READY-MADE JEWELRY (LIMITED EXCHANGE ONLY)

3.1 Exchange Eligibility

Ready-made (non-custom, in-stock) jewelry may be eligible for exchange only, subject to all of the following conditions:

  • Exchange request submitted within seven (7) calendar days from confirmed delivery;
  • Item must be unused, unworn, undamaged, and unaltered;
  • Item must be returned in original packaging with all tags intact;
  • Item must pass inspection and verification by VENÈ JEWELRY.

3.2 No Refunds for Ready-Made Items

Unless required by applicable law:

  • Ready-made items are not eligible for refunds;
  • Exchanges are offered at VENÈ JEWELRY's discretion and subject to availability.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE COSTS

The following costs are non-refundable under all circumstances, including approved exchanges or legally required refunds:

  • Shipping and handling fees
  • Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or clearance charges
  • Payment processing fees imposed by third-party providers

Customers acknowledge that such costs are external charges not controlled by VENÈ JEWELRY.

5. ORDER CANCELLATIONS BY CUSTOMER

5.1 Cancellations Not Permitted

Customers may not cancel:

  • Custom-made or bespoke orders
  • Pre-order items
  • Orders already in production
  • Orders already dispatched

5.2 Limited Cancellations (Ready-Made Items Only)

Ready-made orders may be cancelled only if:

  • Cancellation request is submitted before dispatch, and
  • The order has not entered shipping or fulfilment processing.

Approval of cancellation is subject to VENÈ JEWELRY's confirmation.

6. ORDER CANCELLATIONS BY VENÈ JEWELRY

VENÈ JEWELRY reserves the right to cancel any order, without liability, in cases including but not limited to:

  • Payment authorization failure
  • Suspected fraud or abuse
  • Compliance, sanctions, or legal restrictions
  • Production or supply impossibility
  • Incorrect pricing or technical errors

Where cancellation is initiated by VENÈ JEWELRY, a full refund of the product price paid shall be issued.

7. REFUND PROCESSING (WHERE LEGALLY REQUIRED)

7.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds shall be:

  • Issued only to the original payment method used at checkout;
  • Processed in accordance with payment provider timelines.

VENÈ JEWELRY shall not issue refunds via alternative methods (cash, bank transfer, store credit) unless required by law.

7.2 Processing Time

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment provider policies
  • Banking institutions
  • Currency conversion timelines

VENÈ JEWELRY bears no liability for delays caused by third-party payment providers.

8. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers agree to:

  • Contact VENÈ JEWELRY first to resolve any order concerns;
  • Refrain from initiating chargebacks without reasonable cause.

8.1 Unauthorized Chargebacks

Chargebacks initiated:

  • In violation of this policy;
  • For non-refundable or non-cancellable items;
  • Without prior communication,

may be:

  • Actively contested by VENÈ JEWELRY;
  • Reported to payment processors;
  • Used as grounds for order refusal or account restriction.

9. ABUSE & FRAUD PREVENTION

VENÈ JEWELRY reserves the right to:

  • Refuse future orders from customers engaging in abusive refund or chargeback behaviour;
  • Share relevant information with payment processors and fraud-prevention services.

10. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

VENÈ JEWELRY may amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect:

  • Legal requirements
  • Bank or payment gateway rules
  • Operational considerations

The version in effect at the time of purchase shall apply.
